Serving Others

In and Around Our Community   Around the World
Mercy Ministries   Short-term Missions

It is the mission of this ministry to help us see the needs of those around us through God's eyes, and respond through acts of mercy; trusting in God's power to draw people toward faith in Christ as they experience His love.

If you would like to get involved with MRCC's local mercy ministries or have a mercy mission that you need help organizing, please contact our Mercy Ministries Leader.

Last July MRCC sent nine members on our first-ever short term missions trip.  Through the organization Compassion Connection, these nine spent eleven days in Ecuador interacting with the people, repairing a church and a school, and showing the love of Christ through their willingness to serve.  To learn more about this trip click here.  To get more information about short term missions through MRCC, contact our Missions Team Leader.

Update:   Mountain Ridge currently supports nine children around the world through the organization World Vision.  This is not only through financial sponsorship, but also emotional support by prayer and written correspondence.  If you would like more information about how you can be involved in this effort, please contact our World Vision Coordinator.
Acres of Diamonds: "Meal-in-a-Bag" Food Drive delivered!  We were delighted to deliver two full weeks of "meals-in-a-bag" to the residents of AOD.  In short, 12 meals were delivered, 3 dessert bags, and 3 bags of assorted groceries.  This will allow the residents to easily prepare healthy meals for all the people living there while having a minimal impact on their budget. Fantastic!!

If you would like more information about Acres of Diamonds and how we

might continue serving them, please contact Sara Kruse.
